We Are Still Smiling.
Last Sunday, April 19, 2026, six of our students walked into the Cross School Singing Competition and gave everything they had. They stood on a real stage, in front of real judges, and sang in Mandarin with the whole CCS community cheering them on from the heart.
Moments like this are exactly why we show up every Saturday morning. Moments like this remind us what CCS is truly built for — not just language learning, but raising young people who are brave enough to step forward and represent something bigger than themselves.
We are so proud. We want to make sure every single one of these students knows that.

Joshua Ma — This One Is Yours.
We have so much to say about Joshua Ma and honestly, words feel like they are not enough. Joshua competed in the Advanced Level and brought home first place. First place. That is not something that happens by accident — it is the result of real dedication, real discipline, and a genuine love for what he does that shows every time he walks through our doors.
Watching him receive that recognition on Sunday was one of those moments that stays with you. Joshua, this entire community loves you and we are so incredibly proud of the student and the young person you are becoming. You earned every single bit of this. 🏆

They Showed Up. They Sang. They Made Us Proud.
And then there are these five. These five students who stood on that same stage, took a deep breath, and gave it everything they had. No hesitation. No holding back. Just heart.
Singing in Mandarin in front of a crowd takes more courage than most people realize. These five did it and they did it representing CCS. We saw every bit of the work they put in. We saw the nerves and the bravery. And we want them to know that this community is endlessly proud of each and every one of them.
Thank you for being brave. Thank you for representing us. We are so proud to call you our students. 🌟
